About the Business
Kernow Frame Limited is a relatively new company. As a team of individuals we have found ourselves building more and more timber frames, so we joined forces and created a timber frame company. The initial idea was to be making frames for our own projects and a few clients but we have been amazed by the need of timber frames in the south west. This brought the decision to offer our services to everybody.
All of our timber frames are hand built and hand crafted to ensure total quality control over materials and build quality. This ensures the customer receives an excellent product, from a small extension to a nursing home the quality is consistent. Each timber frame is fully designed utilising computer aided design and comes supplied with a full set of design drawings and structural calculations for submission to your Local Authority.
We offer open panel systems built in our manufacturing facilities, or for tight access sites or smaller extensions we can offer on-site built timber frame options. We can supply design only, so your own carpenters can build the timber frame on site. We can also assist with Planning Applications for new build, extensions or full renovations, along with Building Control Applications to suit.
