About the Business

Anglo-Norden was founded in 1966. The company began its operation as a timber agent. The Wedel family being, of Scandinavian origin, believed that it should be possible to take advantage of the closer ties with Sweden and Scandinavian languages and established a company that was able to supply and act as an agent, importer and wholesalers to the timber industry.

The company started in Pottersgate, Norwich, and after a few years of trading relocated to Felixstowe, Suffolk. The company progressed to purchasing timber loads in its own name, adding its own shipping department in order to secure safe and regular shipments. Today, the company is based in the heart of Ipswich, where it imports all loads and shipments to own quay facilities. Discharging - storage and handling are also handled by Anglo-Norden's own staff. Anglo Norden Forest Products Ltd has the independent flexibility that allows for a quality service.
